Why it works for a long stay

Made for staying put, not passing through.

  • A sitting room with a desk, sofa and bookshelf

    Wi-Fi from two providers

Two separate fibre connections, one kept as a backup, plus backup power for your phone and laptop. If one goes down, the other carries on.

  • A gravel path through the garden, mountains behind the trees

    Peaceful and quiet

Away from the lakeside bustle, in a garden on the hill. Every room faces the sunrise, and the days are slow enough to actually rest.

  • Photo to come

    In-house workout space

Keep your routine without going anywhere. Free for long-stay guests.

  • A grassy ridge trail above Sarangkot

    Hikes all around

Trails along the ridge, through villages and down to the lake. Enough for a month of weekends, or an hour before breakfast.

The gardens

A whole hillside of garden to call yours for a month.

Terraces of flowers, fruit trees and quiet corners step down the hill around the lodge. Read on a bench, take your calls outside, or sit by the fire pit when the evening cools.

  • The courtyard garden between the room wings, red and green leaves in bloom
  • Garden plants with snowy Himalayan peaks behind
  • Red and green garden beds looking out over the valley
  • Flower beds with the Annapurna range in the distance
  • A stone fire pit and curved stone bench in the garden

Your office

Your balcony is your office.

Set up at the table outside, with the mountains on one side and the Pokhara valley below. Take your morning calls in the sun, and close the laptop when the sky turns pink.

Every long-stay room comes with a balcony facing the view.

The bathtubs

A hot bath with the whole valley in the window.

The Junior suite and the apartment each have a bathtub under a big window: the sunrise over the hills, a sea of clouds on some mornings, the lights of Pokhara at night.

Meals · the set dinner

Dinner is a Nepali meal, and a conversation.

Every evening we cook one set dinner from home: a different Nepali dish most nights. We tell you what's on the plate, where it comes from and how it's eaten, and when time allows, the family sits down and eats with you.

Prices are per person, in US dollars. Buying by the week or month costs less.

The café

Coffee grown in our village.

Our garden café pours local coffee from farms here in the village: high-altitude Himalayan arabica, grown slowly on the hillside. It tastes as good as its reputation, and it's a fine way to start a working morning.

Airport pickup and drop

We pick you up from Pokhara International Airport when you arrive and drop you back when you leave. The car stops at our private parking, a short walk up the garden steps to reception. We carry the luggage.

Getting to Pokhara: fly direct from Dubai with flydubai, or fly into Kathmandu and take a bus or a short domestic flight to Pokhara. We'll meet you there.

Laundry, once a week

One load per person each week (about 4 kg of dry clothes). Extra loads are NPR 800 each.

Clothes are machine-washed and dried in the sun, so they need a day of good sunshine. Hand them in in the morning and they're usually ready the next day.

Room cleaning, as you like it

Free cleaning whenever you ask for it. Every day, or leave the desk alone while you work.

Fresh towels

Free fresh towels whenever you need them.

Questions

Long stays in Pokhara, answered.

How much does a long-term stay in Pokhara cost at Superview Lodge?

There are three rooms to choose from: the Deluxe room, the Junior suite with its bathtub, and the apartment with its own kitchen and bathtub. Room only starts at $800 a month for one guest. All inclusive, with breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, starts at $1,140 a month.
Every monthly price includes airport pickup and drop in Pokhara, weekly laundry, room cleaning and fresh towels. Prices for each room and for two guests are in the packages above.

Is the Wi-Fi good enough for remote work?

Yes. We have two separate fibre connections from two providers, one kept as a backup, plus backup power for your phone and laptop. If one connection goes down, the other carries on, so video calls and remote work are not a problem.

Where is Sarangkot, and how far is it from Pokhara Lakeside?

Sarangkot is the hill ridge directly above Pokhara and Phewa Lake, about a 30-minute drive up from the city. It is higher and much quieter than Lakeside, with the Annapurna range in view.
To go down to Pokhara you can take a taxi, the cable car (its Sarangkot station is about 600 metres from the lodge) or the local bus.

What is included in a monthly stay?

Airport pickup and drop at Pokhara International Airport, laundry once a week (one load per person, about 4 kg), room cleaning whenever you ask for it, and fresh towels. Long-stay guests also use the workout space for free. The all-inclusive package adds breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.

Can I cook for myself?

Yes. The apartment has its own kitchen, and room-only guests in the other rooms can use our common kitchen for basic cooking. You can also add any meal plan from our restaurant by the day, week or month: a month of all three meals is $340 per person.

What is the minimum stay, and can I extend?

Long stays are sold one month at a time, so the minimum is one month. To stay longer, book the next month as you go. For shorter visits, see our rooms by the night.

How do I get to Pokhara?

Fly direct to Pokhara from Dubai with flydubai, or fly into Kathmandu and take a bus or a short domestic flight to Pokhara. Send us your flight and we will pick you up at Pokhara International Airport.

Monthly stays are booked directly with us. Send your dates, the room and package you would like, and your flight by email to superviewlodge@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +977 985 602 2610. We will confirm and arrange the pickup.
